Scott Hester began his martial arts training with Won Hop Loong Chuan at Texas A&M University in 1987. After coming home from college, he spent several years in other martial arts including Hung Gar, Southern Shaolin Tay Son Nhan, and received a black belt in Northern Shaolin Longfist/5 animal style. Scott returned to the study of Won Hop Loong Chuan in 2003 and received his Black Belt from Grandmaster A.F. Walker in September of 2006. With over 15 years of experience teaching adults, children and advanced students, Sensei Scott believes that through hard work and self-discipline, nothing is too great of an obstacle to overcome. To persevere through hardship is the key to success. He also believes that the basis for a good martial art is the ability to translate it to practical application

Sempai Joanna began her interest in martial arts at the age of 6, when she attended Tae Kwon Do classes with her father. In 1989, she began training in Won Hop Loong Chuan at Texas A&M University. Once home from college, she spent almost 10 years in a Shaolin Longfist/5 animal system in which she received a black sash and taught students for several years. Sempai Joanna returned to Won Hop Loong Chuan in 2003 and received her black belt from Grandmaster A.F. Walker in June of 2008.
